The NORTH JERSEY WOODCARVERS

The North Jersey Woodcarvers is a chapter of the National Woodcarvers Asc. We were organized in 1972 to pass the knowledge of woodcarving to others. We currently meet the third Thursday of each month (except July, August & December) at the First Lutheran Church on Park St. in Montclair. Meetings start at 8PM with a short talk about club business followed by a “Show & Tell where members are encouraged to bring a carving and explain how they made it. Lastly there is a “Demo” or presentation by a member or guest carver. There is always plenty of coffee, donuts and fellowship. Guests are invited to attend up to three meetings and then asked to join. Membership is still only $20.00 per year plus a one time fee of $3.00 for a badge.
